Ranking my top 3 Drake albums of all time:

Drake's remarkable and enduring presence in hip-hop has been awe-inspiring. I can vividly recall being in elementary school when he first burst onto the scene, and now, as I'm on the verge of graduating college, he continues to reign as one of the top artists in the industry. His ability to consistently deliver hit albums, chart-topping singles, and an ever-evolving sound has solidified his status as a dominant force in music. His albums, from "Thank Me Later" to "Her Loss," and now having recently released a new album titled "For All the Dogs," have made a lasting impression on the genre and serve as evidence of his versatility, lyrical skill, and continuous impact on the rap industry over time. With his newly released album, I rate it a solid 8 out of 10, evidently showing his status as a hip-hop legend does not appear to be declining.

When reflecting on Drake's discography, it's undeniably challenging to pick favorites, but if I had to choose, "Take Care," "Views," and "If You're Reading This It's Too Late" would undoubtedly be my top three. Placing "Take Care" in the third position doesn't diminish its significance; it remains a classic in every sense, but it is where I honestly feel it belongs, in my opinion. Take Care is considered nostalgic for me as I was starting middle school. Classic hits like "The Motto" and "Marvin's Room" were the highlight of my early teen years. Also, I can't forget bangers like "Headlines" and "HYFR," and one track that introduced me to another artist was "Crew Love" featuring The Weeknd. Overall, a 9.3 rating out of 10! If you have this in your top 3, even in your top 5, you are heading in the right direction.

Coming in at number two, I'm having "Views" as the deserved winner for this place. "Views" is an album I consider a classic since it had a significant impact and is all about his hometown, Toronto. Drake did an exceptional job creating a deep connection by delivering emotionally charged lyrics that resonated with me. Also, his portrayal of the city's culture and experiences added a genuine layer to his music. Songs like "Views," "9", "Weston Road Flows", and "U With Me?" bring a lot of great memories as I spent the following summer break listening to them on repeat while having countless hours in the basketball gym working and grinding on my skills. A significant phase in my life. I give it a 9.6 rating out of 10!

I had to leave the best for last, meaning that the first-place winner is "If You're Reading This It's Too Late," and I am not kidding with this one. Beginning a new chapter in my life as a freshman in High School meant I was in the life phase of transitioning from a little boy to a mature teenager. The whole album had ANTHEMS! There is no single track on that album where I categorize it as below eight. Tracks like "Legend," "6 God", "6 Man", "Star67," and my favorite one of all time, "Know Yourself," were the highlight of my entire 2015 year. Mentally, I was elevating, and his lyrics were straightforward and reflected confidence and assertiveness that hit home for me on all levels. It is a very well-executed album in terms of meaning, themes, beats, and lyrics. This is my 10 of 10 album!
